I already have Air Pods and bought these wireless headphones to use in the shower. While I wouldn't recommend them for showering, I would highly recommend them for music and phone calls during daily activities. I gave them 4 stars because I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these $20 headphones compared to my $300 AirPods. Compared to my AirPods, I feel these $20 headphones are actually more comfortable to wear and I don't notice any difference in sound quality. They arrived within two days and were well packaged and undamaged. PRO1) The design is excellent, the black case is durable, and the material and LED display look beautiful. Best feature: I can use the box as a power bank for my iPhone - just plug the phone cord into the box's USB port and it's charging. This is a great travel option as the box is lightweight. I like that the headphones themselves are lightweight and come with different cap sizes to fit my ear comfortably and not hurt. Light weight is important because it keeps them in the ear and doesn't fall out. However, my husband used them for running and they slowly curled up while running so he felt they didn't fit as well as his airpods while running. They work great for me. This tells me that the fit is very dependent on the shape of your ear. While Air earbuds fit all ear sizes and don't require caps, the fit of these earbuds is dependent on the size and design of the cap used. 2) Bluetooth and pairing are fast and excellent! It was so easy to connect to my phone via bluetooth. It found the connection instantly with one click and connected immediately. Very easy to use, requires no experience or manual.3) They are IPX7, which means they are sweat and water resistant and can be submerged in water. I bought it because I want to use it in the shower while listening to my voice app. While they are truly waterproof so are great for the gym or rainy days, I wouldn't recommend them for showering due to the sensitive touchscreen capability. Shower drops and water in my ear activate the touchscreen button, so the headphones turn off by themselves when showering, and the touchscreen doesn't work very well when showering. I was able to press and they turned back on but it took a few tries and after a few minutes they turned off again due to water touching the touchscreen button. My conclusion: If you want to use wireless headphones in the shower, buy headphones with a button. 3) The noise cancellation is great! While I can't say that these headphones have noise canceling, I can definitely say that they block noise due to the great design of how they fit in the ear. When I put them on they work so well that I don't hear any background noise: my husband said something and I couldn't understand a word! My airports don't even come close to that. I am very impressed with the sound quality. However, if you're working, this can be a disadvantage as it blocks out all background noise. That's where the mono function comes in: these headphones can be used individually on just one ear. 4) Monoaural Function: It's great that these headphones can be used individually, one by one. So you can use one earbud while the other charges (longer playtime) or still hear background noise when listening to music and having a conversation5) Phone call quality is crisp and clear. It was easy to take a call and the microphone worked well. My cousin in Australia had no problem understanding me on the phone. CONI'm just worried about the touchscreen button. On the one hand, the touchscreen is very sensitive, so I accidentally picked up the phone with the headphones in my hand and they also turned off in the shower because water was knocking on them. Every clicking sound in my ear while showering was fumbling with the controls. On the other hand, they are not sensitive enough when it comes to adjusting the volume and turning it forward or back in the shower. They work well outside of the shower, but the taping needs to be pretty heavy at times. So a bit inconsistent. sometimes a light touch is enough, and sometimes you have to press several times to control the pause and play, volume or skip functions. It takes a little practice to figure out how to control them well. I find this feature not very user friendly as it is 1 tap, 2 tap and 3 tap which basically controls all the settings. While the play and pause function works well, the volume function is difficult to use. I also wish the maximum volume was a bit louder. Summary: Do not use in the shower or while swimming. Use them in the spa or pool when splashes don't bother the controls. They are waterproof if dropped into water and continue to function normally afterward. They are also good for making phone calls, running and listening to music. Great travel companion!
