I love Ninja products, and I love this pan. Once you try one you very well may want another, whether you need it or not. It started when I got their Foodi NeverStick PossiblePot . Love/d that, then began pining away for their Foodi NeverStick PossiblePan in smoked paprika color, which I bought. May have been my most expensive cookware purchase, but I was so impressed with the pot that I splurged on myself with the pan, which I use every single day. Love it. Worth every penny. Can be used in the oven too! SO, with love to spare, how could I not jump on opportunity to acquire a second pan, haha! (which I will continue to use, or share with my mom).Funny thing, just last night I was dreaming about someone in my house cutting something in the pan with a sharp knife. I remember giving them an education on how to take care of pans, and how this is my favorite pan and that they have to treat it well. I dreamed of this pan, haha. My love is real. And so now I include a part of my review for the other pan (same one, different color): Lovely pot and pan, and easily my favorite. There is just something different, better, than other pans I have tied over the past couple of years. I have a gas stove top, and have a slew of cast iron. While I love my cast iron, there is an ease of use that comes with non stick pans. Lighter too. This can be used on any cooking surface. The ninja pan has heft, but isnt too heavy. Well balanced. Food does not stick--EVER--, food cooks evenly, and the pan holds heat (which kind of reminds me of cast iron in that way). There are directions to preheat the pan on the stove using low heat (dont start with high), then move the temp up over time.It is a skillet, and so it has plenty of versatility on the stove and even in the oven. Great fitting lid. Comes with a spatula that sits nestled on the lid. Also has a strainer insert. Great for steaming vegetables and cooking pasta-- just like in their picture. However, this would mean homemade or soft pasta, not the dry sticks. Though I suppose small pasta shapes would be fine. I happen to make homemade noodles, and this insert is great for cooking and draining my pasta without needing to drain in between batches. For dry spaghetti, I use their 7 quart pot- same material, same functionality, etc. Just deep.Comes well packaged in a colorful retail box. Makes it giftable, Though if shipping to someone direct know that the packaging/box is shipped in a shipping box from Ninja and shows the company name.So far, I am very happy with this pan. Probably double in price of other pans I have used, but this is better, and I dont see this falling apart, flaking, or turning ugly. If it ever does, I will update.
