Excellent underlay for medium weight fabrics

I have a medium weight fabric that has the properties of silk. Without fleece, I noticed a strong folding and contraction of the fabric when embroidering. I started using this for each part and noticed a huge improvement. At first I thought it was water soluble so I was initially wrong. I tried tearing it down and it's very educational :)
