I have a Dexcom G6 CGM. While the G6 sensor is rated for 10 days, its adhesive patch doesn't work. I have noticed that the glue starts to loosen around day 5. I've even used the free Dexcom patches that come with the same unsatisfactory results. So I bought Simpatch as an additional patch. Here are my thoughts after wearing 2 Simpatches for 10 days with the same results. ADVANTAGES:1. Absolutely no skin irritation after 10 days of wearing each patch; and 2. Simpatch held up well until about day 7-8 Cons: 1. The Simpatch adhesive started to lose adhesion along the top edge on day 7-8. By day 10, the top edge of the patch had moved about ½”; and 2. Once the paper backing was removed, Simpatch became uncomfortable to hold; A patch rolled up in 3 places. While I'm very, very happy that Simpatch didn't irritate my skin after 10 days of wearing it, I'm disappointed that after 7-8 days it started to lose its grip and curl up. . The product is advertised for use with the G6 CGM sensor, which is good for 10 days, so Simpatch should do the same.
