I like the pan so far. It has a stainless steel interior which is what I was looking for. As for the thickness, I had a feeling it could be thicker stainless steel, but it looks ok now. My previous small pot had a "non-stick inside" that was ruined. This little pot is used to boil water for my morning drink. I haven't used it for my oatmeal yet. heat is good. I would have preferred my other pot to have had more control. I saw the little footprints that others spoke of. I usually just dry the pot when I'm done. I noticed that the "footprints" suddenly turned brownish. Not sure why unless someone else has used it recently. I took some baking soda and rubbed the area gently. Presto.brown is gone. This little pot serves my purpose very well. I had an episode when it wasn't heating up. . The end of the fork that connects to the pot was not fully inserted into the hole. In any case, it was a human error, not a mistake. So far, so good!
