The Feiyu Ak4500 is a full-featured stabilizer that can be used with almost any camera. This kit has everything I need to shoot professional videos. No additional accessories are required. That makes it so much easier! - Maximum payload of 10 pounds! This is a powerful stabilizer that can handle loads of up to 10 pounds. - Compatible with mirrorless cameras, DSLRs and even some major film cameras. - Compatible with ARCA quick release plate. This is one of the very few stabilizers designed to be compatible with the ARCA plate. All my cameras have ARCA plates installed which makes them perfect. - Tracking focus module that helps keep the subject in focus even when you're moving. - Remote control with hyperlink. This is one of the most amazing designs for professional photography. It comes with an extra hand grip that features wireless gimbal control. You can have an additional person remotely control your gimbal movements while the main person can just focus on walking or running. A very professional feature when working with a small team. The versatile grip is great for low-angle shooting and helps keep the camera stable at very low angles. The total weight of the gimbal is about 3.5 pounds including batteries and my A7III + 16-35mm GM lens (3.1 pounds). Makes a total weight of approximately 6.6 lbs. Which isn't bad for a full-size stabilizer. The Ak4500 has a very solid build, very smooth movements, compared to some of the smaller gimbals it is much more stable. A small design that I really like compared to other gimbals is the ARCA platter compatible design, so far the only gimbal I've used with this design. There are 2 platters available, one of which is a standard video platter and you can place your own ARCA platter on it. This makes it a lot easier if you just need to detach the camera for a few quick photos and then mount it back in the same spot without having to change any mounting plates or rebalance the entire gimbal. It saves me a lot of time when shooting on location. The other design is the Hyperlink remote control handle that comes standard with this kit. With a full-size gimbal like this, it helps a lot to have a second person who can control/manage your gimbal's movements while the main person focuses on walking or running. This will make your recordings even more professional. The hyperlink controls are very responsive and have almost every control setting you would have with a basic gimbal controller, so I don't have to worry about missing any buttons or settings. The last thing I use is vertical social media videos. Since vertical videos are more popular now, I needed a stabilizer to record videos with motion. That's when I discovered that most small gimbals have trouble balancing the camera properly when mounted vertically. Because the center of gravity is now higher. But with the AK4500, that wasn't a problem. I was able to mount my A7C or A7III cameras in vertical mode with a cage on top and balance them in minutes. This is very important to me as over 50% of my videos are now shot in portrait format. This will be a great addition to my gimbal kit. Mainly used for vertical videos and some more complex movements that require 2 people. It's a bit big to carry around when traveling but it will take great stable shots. It's worth it when I'm shooting something professional.
