Purchased to replace the bottom of the key fob for my Passat 02. The key fob is positioned and well made just like the factory key fob, but I had to file down some parts of the key fob to allow it to fit comfortably onto my existing original key blade and the top of the key fob without separation. the upper part at the seams as well as without modifications. The electronics of the standard key fob fit easily on the new one, all buttons have been working for a few months. Overall, if you have a set of files or sandpaper at home, it's worth it!
