Said it didn't fit my 2001 VW Beetle but the shape was right so I went with it. It fitted perfectly, but because of the plastic case, the signal didn't transmit well to my car. Luckily my old key fob still worked and we got together on Frankenstein. Not recommended unless you need a metal piece to hold other keys on your key fob.

The links are my old ones. I was only able to use one side of this product because the other side is not compatible with my old chip and battery. My old battery is smaller and I use this case, I have to use a bigger battery that touches the chip and doesn't close. I could simply replace the side buttons. Maybe they can put a picture on the inside instead of just the outside so buyers can really compare before they buy.

I thought I might save some money by just buying this case and rearranging the guts of the original. It turned out that the internal dimensions did not match and the internals of the original (same model number) did not fit this shell. I returned this and ordered their entire keychain (top/bottom) and everything was perfect. Good company, good product. Just make sure what you really need. Purchased to replace the bottom of the key fob for my Passat 02. The key fob is positioned and well made just like the factory key fob, but I had to file down some parts of the key fob to allow it to fit comfortably onto my existing original key blade and the top of the key fob without separation. the upper part at the seams as well as without modifications. I was moving a small computer circuit board into a new case and when it came time to snap the back into place I found that the black rectangle on top of the board didn't fit into the NEW back cover. The NEW back cover has a tab that prevents it from being installed so I had to use the OLD back cover which kind of defeats my purpose. I've attached a photo for clarification. If you look at this image, it will be a bit difficult to isolate this protrusion in the photo, but just visualize the right
