I like this new laptop very much. It was affordable, even on my fixed retirement income, and it's FABULOUS fast. Bigger than my 5 year old desktop which has half the memory. A solid state drive doesn't hurt anyone either. My only complaint is that the mouse pad sucks a lot. Many do. But this one keeps sending signals to the OS, even when I'm not touching it (maybe I'm breathing on it or my sleeve is on), and web pages suddenly move left or right, or zoom in or out. ; Menu options you never selected appear - and then the sensitivity is set to the minimum. This is a problem my old Dell laptop never had. Oh good. I have always strived for perfection: I never found it. It starts my Visual Studio compiler as it should - it only takes a few seconds to compile - and I'm very forgiving of that.
