It was just what I needed for my trip. This allowed me to connect my laptop and iPad for internet tethering. While she drove, I attended web meetings, created flowcharts, and submitted expense reports. It was a full time job. The laptop required only 90 watts. This unit is fairly consistent with the task. The length of the cord was perfect from my front cup holder to the outlet on the back of the console. So I still had the connector for the radar detector. For me that would be the only gap in the design, the addition of a 12v cigarette lighter adapter. I trust this brand for quality and safety. This product lives up to its reputation. The devil is in the details. It's worth it. The easily accessible fuse and thoughtful vent design mean I will keep it as a must have in my car for years to come. Excellent work!
