I was trying to find a way to attach my long planters to the balcony. The balcony is black and we are not allowed to attach anything permanent to it. I have used large zip ties but they become brittle and need to be changed every year. This nylon strap will be my new solution. I cut pieces long enough to wrap and a little extra to tighten. I have enough to make six or even nine straps to hold my 42 inch metal planters. I will not use their materials to craft them. I have a friend with an industrial sewing machine because these belts are difficult to sew. .Also I want it to be really strong. Speaking of which, the clips seem very strong. Metal would obviously be better, but they still seem very strong, and since each strap only holds 1/2 to 1/3 weight, they should hold up just fine. I can't dress them yet because it's too early to plant so I'll add pics once they're up. But I am very happy with the quality of the nylon strap and clips in this set.
