I used this to wash carpets at home after the last cleaning 5 years ago. I've done a few spot treatments on some known problem areas where dogs/kids have messed up/cleaned them up before. General cleaning only. The carpet looked lighter, less dirt and smelled fresh. It also reassured me that I wasn't poisoning the house by leaving toxic chemicals on the carpet. The main problem I had was guessing how much to buy when renting a professional car. I found a few numbers online that seemed to work so I didn't run out of solutions.
