Pin is bent, thread is cut

The documentation recommends grinding the rivets on the chain 530 (motorcycle) to make it easier to remove the pin. However, I wasn't looking at a manufacturer's riveting with a machine, but rather rivets made with these tools (called the Master Link). Since they are not as swollen as other rivets, I chose not to grind them. The bent pin in the photo was the result. After pulling the push pin out of the main bolt, I took a look at the drive bolt (the bolt at the bottom of the picture). This bolt was stripped down the middle of the bolt, not the tip (back then). I ended up using an 8d nail to knock the pin out of the chain (the nail didn't bend). I bought a separate unit to complete setting up a new circuit for the installation as it wasn't necessary for that part. When I was tackling the master link on the new chain, I used the same bolt (torqued further to get more threads) and it worked fine until the threads on the bottom of the bolt snapped. This was when I luckily finished the second rivet. Would I buy this again? No, the metal sucks and the threads are too flimsy to hold properly. The new device I got for punching the pins has coarser threads and a larger bolt. It also cost me less than this device. I'll see if I can find a screw for the main camera on this piece of junk so I can attach chain rivets with it.
