Exhaust and Emissions Part Kit

Bought to replace the exhaust manifold on a 1992 Camry 5SFE engine but ended up returning it. First, good - the cast-iron manifold itself appears to be of acceptable quality. The exhaust ports are a bit rough, well shaped and such, but whoever has done this likes to keep the finishing to a minimum. And the rest is a heat shield. Great Google Mugli! This thing is terrible! It looks like two crappy pieces of metal put together and stamped. Glued in a few places. And then he ran. This thing is a continuous sharp edge. Except where it's dented. It's pretty amazing, like someone figured out how to make a Mobius strip out of a razor blade and dented it. The screw holes don't quite line up where they should be. Pretty close, but not quite. It's a piece of hot junk. When you receive this item, please do not use it. I strongly recommend using your original heat shield. It looks better, feels better, the holes match, and it just inspires confidence that you just can't find with this part. And yes, even a 27-year-old rust-eaten part is miles better than this part. with studs for output flange and nuts. 3 each. It seems to be of acceptable quality, there is nothing remarkable about them. No oxygen sensor connections. and it's quite tragic; Good luck getting the bolts out of your old header that you replaced. Well, a trip to the hardware store and you'll be fine. M8 1.25x15 two is what you need, I just took screws. Oh yes, no gasket for the oxygen sensor. No studs for manifold brackets. No flange gasket. The kit is a deal breaker.
