I wear size 16 jeans. I bought a size 16 first. It's a little tight in the back for me (for ladies with big butts/wide hips), but otherwise everything is fine. I wanted something looser so I bought a size 18. It still hangs around my waist to keep it from falling off me, but if my buttocks and hips were smaller, I think it would slip off. I would rate it 2 or 3 stars as the first one I bought was a bit broken. It would have stained my hands and my white shirt. The second one I bought didn't have this problem.
