I love Skechers and appreciate the quality and wide shoes that fit my feet and make walking comfortable. I needed a new pair and based on the amazing reviews I decided to try a pair of these hiking shoes. The reviews were way off the mark and I was very disappointed in these shoes. When I first tried them on they were comfortable, but after wearing them twice I could tell the cushion was worn. From the start they don't offer much support or wrap around your foot like the Skechers Go Run. In fact, everything is even indoors. I think the rounded elements on the sole should give some support when walking, but I don't feel it. After wearing them for the first time, they stretched and are now falling off my leg. They fit perfectly when I first tried them on. I've even started wearing thicker socks, but they're still loose. There is a raised portion of the boot on the back of the ankle that rests on my feet. It's amazing, especially when the shoes are dangling back and forth as you walk. I will go back and see if the Go Run brand has changed or if it is still the same quality as what I previously bought. I do not recommend them for power walking or any other form of walking. Only at home will they be fine.
