Good but low volume
This is a good CD player. Plays most popular file formats. MP3, Windows Media, CD Audio. Low volume in the headphone jack. You must be able to climb higher. When I connected it to external speakers, I had to turn the speaker volume up to 55 to hear it. These high volume speakers I use should blow you out of the room. None to connect external speakers to. For me, that's not a deal killer. Also what a really good player so far. Love you can recharge the batteries in it. It has a switch to turn on/off the automatic battery charging so you don't damage the batteries inside.
