I'm raising monarchs in Southern California. This is the best and most realistic patch I could find. Most true monarchs are actually over 3 1/2 inches tall, but this 3 inch size is a good size for application and decoration. The colors are correct and the design is pretty accurate. The designer spared no time to make it of high quality. I attached this plaster to my hair clip to see if the wild manarchs would notice. And yes they did. The two black dots on the tail mean it is a male monarch who has enlisted other males to study. Fun!
