Perfect for my Lippert Smart Jack. Keeps you nice and dry and unaffected by the elements. I usually hang the trailer cable on the jack before putting the cover on it. I have no experience driving on a jack. Stationary use only. When traveling to/from camping I keep two wheel covers in to keep everything in order. Only lasted a few weeks. I can't say anything about durability. ***Update*** It is now August 8, 2021 and the lid is holding up well. The sprung cord still works, no breaks or breaks either outside or inside. Used for Northern Virginia weather. A caravan is parked in an open subcamp. There is some fading but that is to be expected in the sun.
