Better for dressing a grinding wheel than a star dresser
I used to only use a star dresser on a 6" grinder but my Dremel had a tiny shank and I love it so I decided to give it a go to give a try when the old mill is worn out. I am very happy with it, especially when dressing wheels. With heavily loaded grinding wheels, the sprocket still seems a little quicker, but I still use a stick to straighten the wheel after cleaning. A stick is sufficient for moderately loaded panes. I'm impressed and it seems to hold up for many years of use.
