I don't understand why real cloth, which is more resilient to abrasion and pets than faux leather, isn't used to construct these seats. The chair is lovely, comfortable, and it looks fantastic right out of the box. Unfortunately, cats also particularly enjoy leatherette. The cat scratched the skin on the first evening, which made turning away worthwhile. Additionally, this skin was exceedingly vulnerable to even light scratching.
