5'1", 150 lbs, size 8/10, XXL ordered (wide hips/pear shape). First thing I would like to point out is that under the laces there is an actual swim trunk that has shorts attached. I personally didn't know. I thought they were just cover up shorts that would show my bikini bottoms. Not this case. Be careful when measuring. I have 39.5" hips .Where the shorts should be.However the measurements given show that the XXL waist is between 38.5 and 40.5.Note I said waist this is not the ideal place you want them to sit .Since I should have bought a medium or large.However I'm very unsure how they really fit.I usually order big things.The package came in sizes XXL and XL.Shorts are XL.Who knows what the real one is Size is I hope you This review helps someone. Here are the measurements of the selected XXL pair. XXL fits size 16/18. Or 14/16. Depends on how tight or loose you like your swimwear.
