I have a very expensive MSI gaming laptop that I use for professional music production and I can make my own mods. I'm not an expert, but I have many years of real-world experience. However, I have decided to upgrade my primary OS SSD to the flagship Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2 (1TB). Obviously this will involve cloning the original drive to Samsung and in order not to make mistakes I did a lot of research. There are many USB sleeves available from Revain. like hundreds, and as far as I can tell, none of them support Samsung's migration software detection. This is not a hardware issue and nothing to worry about. With this case, I was able to successfully clone my main OS drive (500GB Samsung NVMe M.2) to a new drive (1T Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2). ) in just 14 minutes with the free version of Macrium Reflect (of course it would take longer with an old-school mechanical hard drive). I used the default software settings and had no problems. I put the new drive in my computer and it worked just as well as before. The only difference is that I have more storage space now! As far as this case goes, it appears to be a quality construction. The display is very detailed. Assembly is easy enough and the thin metal body is durable and stylish. I am very happy.
