My cats are ugly and will scratch furniture as soon as you turn around. At night it is absolutely free for everyone. These stripes helped them a lot to put people off. The only problem is that they are not enough! I mostly put them on top of the furniture but also use them on the edge of the counters so they don't jump on them. Important Note: If you don't want your cats to scratch furniture, make sure they still have plenty of things they CAN scratch or they won't be of any use. Finally, I think they are quite expensive since they are essentially large chunks of the glorified band.
