Good size strips for scratching posts

I didn't know these existed and would like to have them as they work well to keep the cat away from places I don't want to scratch. Kitty doesn't like it, so it protects areas from scratch damage and keeps her out of places she's not supposed to go. I think over time I won't need her anymore as she will get used to not going to those places and not scratching. They also sell whole sheets, which I prefer because I can cut them to the size I want, but these cut strips come in handy.

Great exercise band

My cats are ugly and will scratch furniture as soon as you turn around. At night it is absolutely free for everyone. These stripes helped them a lot to put people off. The only problem is that they are not enough! I mostly put them on top of the furniture but also use them on the edge of the counters so they don't jump on them. Important Note: If you don't want your cats to scratch furniture, make sure they still have plenty of things they CAN scratch or they won't be of any use. Finally, I…

Start using them with kittens

My six-year-old cat likes certain spots on my couch, so I decided to try CLAWGUARD Cat Training Strips. The strips stick easily and prevent my cat from scratching her favorite spots. But now it only scratches other parts of the sofa besides the tape! In order for them to work effectively, I believe you need to provide another scratching post that looks like the object you want your cat to avoid. My cat has been scratching the same spots for years so it's ingrained in her right now. However, if…

There's a learning curve, but they work great.

I saw my cat experience this for the first time and it was quite funny. I attached one to the back of the couch to distract my cat from her favorite spot to sharpen her claws. Every morning she jumps in the same spot, and this time she jumped up, looking confused, and immediately jumped up again, shaking each of her four legs in turn as if they were wet. The strip has been sticky for about a week since I applied it, but is slowly coming off as it picks up dust and pet hair. It is applied like a

They just stick well.

I ordered these strips because I have some kittens at home. I have two large scratching posts, as well as toys with scratching posts. For some reason they seemed to think my couch was the best place to lay their claws. So I started using these strips (thereby saving my couch which luckily is undamaged) and got the kittens to use their trees instead. I've been watching them for a month to see if they come back but they don't. The strips are transparent so they don't look horrible on your…

It would be great, but Felix is Felix

About 5 years ago we rescued two cats. They are both beautiful and we love them, but our red cat, Felix, is a holy terror. He just keeps getting in trouble, tearing up our furniture and everything. I figured these cat stripes might help so I asked Vine about it and here we are. This review is from: CLAWGUARD Cat Training Bands, Preventing Cats from Scratching, Scratching or Jumping on Furniture. They're probably great for regular cats. Unfortunately Felix is not normal. He loves plastic. Any…

Great unless you have one of these cats

If you've read any of my other reviews here on Revain you may have seen me mention that we have six cats, one of which is Hell on Wheels is. (Paw.). This cat is fearless and will laugh in the face of danger or anything else that would frighten any normal cat or even human. Although we love him to death (when he's asleep), he's a furniture destroyer. Little turkey loves to crawl along the bottom edges of chairs, sofas, bedsteads and more like he's Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible. Three…
