I ordered these strips because I have some kittens at home. I have two large scratching posts, as well as toys with scratching posts. For some reason they seemed to think my couch was the best place to lay their claws. So I started using these strips (thereby saving my couch which luckily is undamaged) and got the kittens to use their trees instead. I've been watching them for a month to see if they come back but they don't. The strips are transparent so they don't look horrible on your furniture, and they have a little latch that you can use when it's time to take them off (which I will do once they're fully disassembled). You get a box of twenty of these and I only had to use four or five, so that's enough. The price is perfect for the product as they really work. They are wide, about four inches, and long, about a foot. So the product is worth its price.
