I been building custom drones since the days of analog. I bought my first store bought drone the mini se just to see how well little cheap drones had evolved. Very well and this antenna add on. Added well over 1000 feet of range easy possibility 2000 feet. It really adds direct yag effect to the system. I don't think a chip level op amp would do better. I rather have gain then noise. Not sure if they work or not but they seem to have gotten me more control further out then before. Looking for deer in the field got a lot easier now lol

forget anything else, this is for far the best of all, before install it I tested the drone with a lot of obstacules and just get almost 2000 feet, and after install the yagi extender, I could reach the amazing distance of 6500 feet, I totally recommended.

Since the day it came out, I have been flying the Mini, and now with these on, I find myself flying out more. As a signal watcher, I am very reserved, and I don't venture out. But, I think I got another half-mile of comfort and joy with these. I couldn't believe it; they make the Mini that much more fun! You need these too!

I don't fly out of VLOS like some guys. But, I do take it pretty close to the limits. Sometimes, my Mavic is just a spec in the sky. I know that these quads have a range of miles. And, in that range, I'm always mindful of the signal strength. Everything near you and 'home point' may be clear of interference. But, you can't always see what's going on, just beyond that rise, or down in that valley. I got these boosters to improve my signal. Not so I could go further. But, so I could have better…

Very quick and easy to install as well as a perfect fit! Really does seem to help connectivity and extend the range limit all while looking cool at the same time!

I live in a high interference area, right at the border of controlled airspace, and over a lake where I fly, my Mavic Mini used to lose signal even at less than 1000 feet of VLOS distance.Also, the streaming image on the DJI Fly app got pixelated quickly at half that distance even with full controller signal bars. These things work great for the money. Before the rule enthusiast start lecturing…I know not supposed to fly that high or this far but I was testing out how far I could go.Look at the screenshot. the height and the distance. Before I put these on I could only get it to go maybe 2200 feet away Before it lost signal. I went four times that distance.
