While we enjoyed the challenge of this puzzle, many of the pieces could fit in multiple places. The strategy to create your outer edge/frame first definitely does not work with this puzzle. In fact, one of the last pieces we inserted was to move pieces in the outer frame. I bought this ball specifically because of the tabs because my dog loves to rip apart soccer balls as she grabs them to bring back to us. We have gone through at least 5 balls in the last year. I thought this was a good option to try. However, the ball has so many tabs on it that it doesn't roll or bounce properly. My dog doesn't even recognize it as a ball.
