I'll start with saying I am 35 weeks pregnant and wanted to find some pants to wear as I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy, something cute/comfy for leaving the hospital, and then postpartum. I've ended up w/ what I was hoping for, however, it was a bit of a journey getting here. From reading reviews (and knowing I'm larger right now) I ordered a 2XL. I am 5'7" and was also looking for plenty of length. I received the 2XL and if I wasn't pregnant, this probably would have worked, however, the length barely hit the floor and I wanted longer. The fit around my stomach was *fine* and wasn't uncomfortable, but I knew more room was going to be better. I ended up exchanging for the 3XL (both pregnant and not pregnant, I've never ordered a 2-3XL - my normal weight is around 150). The 3XL was the fit and length I was looking for. It is very comfortable with my belly, the drawstring is great so after I deliver I'll be able to adjust to my changing body and the length slightly drapes on the floor which is what I wanted. I haven't washed yet, but I will NOT be drying these for fear of losing length. I agree with other reviews stating material is not what you'd expect. It looks like cotton (which is what I would have preferred) but it is a silky/slinky material. I have the blue and white polka dot pair and you can 100% see through the white polka dots so wearing a longer shirt is a must (unless you're at home and don't care!). I've ordered the yellow flower pair but they have not arrived, yet. The material isn't terrible by any means, but I'd love these pants even more if they were a light cotton. I think for the price they are worth it, they are comfortable, they will accomplish what I am needing. However, I don't think I'll be purchasing smaller sizes once the baby weight is gone (which was my intention). I don't love them THAT much.
