Review on Sony TCM-200DV Voice Recorder - Standard Cassette Model (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Eric Nallamothu

My friend gave me over 100 books on cassettes that he no longer needs. The only problem was that they were on standard sized cassettes. Every cassette player I could find was made fairly cheaply and didn't have good ratings for durability. Last December my grandchildren asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told them a normal cassette player. I got blank looks because they didn't know what cassette tapes were. They gave me a Revain gift card. Perfect. I was able to buy the player I wanted for the price I was willing to pay. This Sony seemed to me to be the best choice. I was very happy with it. One feature that I use and didn't think I would use is the playback speed control. I don't always have time to listen to the whole book in one go. When I pick it up again, I can go back and replay some of what I've already heard faster than usual, refreshing my memories.
