I really wanted to like them, they just turned into an expensive useless toy. Using a 2.4GHz wireless/wi-fi seems to be the root cause. My WiFi router is in my home studio and works on both 2.4 and 5 GHz. My printer can only use 2.4GHz, so I can't disable that channel. And even if I could make it at home, can you imagine the next place you are? "Oh sir, could you turn off the WiFi? They seem to be interfering with my guitar's wireless system." Yes, right. I needed a replacement for my Line6 G30, which has worked fine for the last 6+ years, but after too much bullying on stage (I hop around a bit !) has expired. Thought I might try a system that doesn't require a waist strap to be attached to my guitar strap to stay in place! No. They work fine, but there's no way they can be used in a live -Room work they connect fine but I suspect they can fly out of the socket now I'm aware I stay away from any system that uses 2.4Ghz wifi 4 channels allow it just don't want two xvives competing against each other, if you happen to be near a router that broadcasts 2.4 you will hear a whooshing sound when playing games, I also see half a dozen other people's routers in my apt box, and there my printer 2.4 needed see e I have no way of staying in my live setup or my home recording setup. next replacement for my line6 G30 bodypack but due to COVID19 there is almost no stock or sellers are doubling their prices from RRP. Good luck, but beware of ANY wireless system that says it uses the 2.4GHz band.
