I bought these for use in the car to connect my phone via USB. The outlet is in the pocket, and every time I plugged my phone in, I had to coil up a 10-foot or 15-foot charging cord. This cable is the perfect length to fit in my pocket and allows me to control my phone with auto controls and voice commands. As long as the cable holds up normally, no signs of use or wear at any point of the connection. I realize this isn't a practical choice for charging at home or work, but I had a specific reason for this purchase and it worked great.
