This is exactly the solution I needed. I spent months looking for a rod extender that would lower the closet rod a few feet for my son to reach and hang his clothes. He broke dozens of hangers and I'm always afraid that he will lower the entire shelf in the closet, trying to reach them at the standard height. I looked at a few that just hung but it seemed like a waste of space. This is the perfect middle ground. The bottom two bin shelves are perfect for him to reach his socks and underwear in one bin and his underpants in the other and hang everything else. He can hang up his clothes and take them off, and there's still room to put a small basket and shoe rack under all the shirts to keep his closet neatly organized. I was able to stash extra pants and sweaters in the upper baskets for him to change into during the colder months. He can't reach the top tanks but he can pull them out if needed as they are fabric and not too heavy (this is only perfect for the standard 11x11 fabric foldable tanks). Easy installation, very happy with it!
