This jacket kept my daughter extremely warm on all our snowy hikes. The waterproof exterior allowed her to play without GETTING soaked and the hood kept her head dry during lighter snowfall. The jacket's details including pockets and a chin guard made it practical and stylish... After i put it to the test, I can confidently say that it withstands harsh winter conditions. The only downside is that it may be slightly too bulky for more strenuous outdoor sports and activities.
