I wouldn't call this a waist trainer. maybe a waist slimmer. It does help to rid your mid section of access water. I wear this shaper daily and it does not have sweat pouring off of me, but it does heat you up and causes your body to perspire. I must say that since i have been wearing this waist shaper. i have lost a few inches off my waist and around my back. I have had a few different products just like this one, the one thing I have found with each different brand is that the underarm area is always too tight. I generally fit into a medium for clothing so I size up and got this as a large as they are generally pretty tight I would say you may need to go up an additional two sizes when ordering this specific one as the large was very difficult to get on.However product does work as described and will make you sweat more than normal.

Sizing is not accurate.I ordered a large, had to return it because it was more like a medium. Ordered an xl and i swear it was the same size as the large, but I squished myself into it and went on a jog. Not a good idea, because it was so tight i almost couldnt breath normally.

It definitely made me sweat a lot more during workouts! It cut into my armpits, maybe once I wear it more and lose more weight it will be better. A huge con is it smells horrible, I took it off and the smell was horrendous. My daughter said she could smell me across out large living room.

First let me say like others have mentioned there is a strong strong chemical smell when you first open the package. But once you leave it out to air out (about 24 to 48 hrs) the smell semi goes away or at least it's still slightly present but isn't as over powering as when you first open it and but after using it for a few days I didn't smell anything. I've only worn this one time so far, but it does make you sweat! I'm going to measure my waist and see if I can tract a difference. I'm 5'3', currently down to 141.6 and I got the small. It defiantly works temporarily slimming your waist and it's mostly comfortable like a skin tight shirt the only complaint I really have is the arm holes are a bit to the back so it actually rubs just in front of your arm pits so it isn't great for lifting or working with your arms but otherwise it's comfortable enough to wear on a normal daily routine. I've had this product about a week or so and I've worn it while working out and daily as an undergarment. It took some getting used to but I'm glad I decided to get it. One of the best things is, I'm a curvy girl (14/16) and I was elated to see this vest does NOT ROLL. It is long enough to cover that bothersome pooch (the lower abdomen area that women in my age bracket get and struggle to lose) but I don't have to keep pulling it down all day. Used it this morning during my workout. Let me tell you, I SWEAT so good! It isn't bulky and it does what I wanted it to do! Very happy with my purchase! It does have a bit of a tire smell to it. I washed it 2x on the handwash cycle and still had the smell. It's not overpowering and I also did not smell it while I worked out. Guess its just the material type.

I’m a usual size medium in clothes I weight 130 at 5’4 and couldn’t even get it in over my head. I tried to step into it and it wouldn’t go up. I’m skeptical about trying the large because I don’t want it to be too big in the mid section.

I love the vest. I purchased an xlg because I read the reviews and everyone said it ran small. I wear a lrg in shirts and the vest is too big. Barely gripping my top half a all. But if it wasnt for that I would be giving the vest 5 out of 5. Plus it does not have an ordor like a tire smell. I think some of the reviews were to keep people from purchasing.

I want to start by saying this thing is awesome! It is hard to put on because it is so tight, but it's so worth it! I'm usually a US Large and I ordered in a Large as well. It fits well! The trick to put it on is (if you don't have strong arms like myself) to lift both your arms up and insert your arms halfway to the shirt's arm hole and then once you do that, press it down over your head using both arms. I have a wide upper body. It was great for the first couple of days. Then I felt like I was going to get a rash around my armpits. I tried it again But after I’d take it off it felt weird under my armpit. It’s kinda hard putting it because of the bust but after it’s on it holds pretty good. I’ve done burpees, sit ups, and I run with it after a couple of days it just feels kinda uncomfortable.

I originally purchased an XL because most reviews mentioned they run small. I found that they run pretty true to fit. I now have a size large and it is too big as well. I love it and wear it daily. While I have not seen a huge difference as of yet I have referred the product to a number of my friends who also purchased it. Great product!

I love this shaper! I bought a second one. It's so comfortable i wear it everyday. I have tried so many different ones but end up taking it off because i couldn't breath.
