First let me say like others have mentioned there is a strong strong chemical smell when you first open the package. But once you leave it out to air out (about 24 to 48 hrs) the smell semi goes away or at least it's still slightly present but isn't as over powering as when you first open it and but after using it for a few days I didn't smell anything. Also the other down side was that it was way to big around the waist so it didn't really work for me the way that it should've. It fit more like a large in the waist but the top part was fine since it fits right underneath my bra. I wore it for maybe 2 weeks to see if it would help but even with wearing a shirt and sweats over it - I didn't feel any heat or increased sweat to help that post baby problem area. Maybe if i had ordered a small or extra small it would've worked like it was suppose to. The other issue that I had was that it made my skin itch after wearing it . taking it off to air out and wipe didn't seem to help . so didn't wear it much after the first 2 weeks of trying it out.
