I have to say I was delighted with this item. It was for my room to move to the edge of the bed to journal and draw. There are 2 shelves downstairs for my books. A shelf has a back wall to prevent books from falling from behind and above; bottom shelf no. However, what I need is my storage rack. It has casters and locks so it won't roll away when needed. The table top can be adjusted to several heights, all you have to do is screw the knobs to the desired position. Screw it tight or it will fall off when you apply the weight of your hand. Learned and now it's absolutely perfect. Hope that helps.
