Review on Pillow Soft Curls by Miss Jessie's, 8.5 oz by Linda Braley

This product has advantages and disadvantages, so it's difficult for me to rate it. I decided to split it in half and give it 2.5 stars. Pros: It gives really nice soft and bouncy curls. The hair didn't split at all. But that's not a bad thing for me as I've always liked this texture. As some of the other reviews have noted it has a really strong odor which I experienced from time to time throughout the day. It's not a terrible smell, but like I said, it's strong. Cons: The bottle says to use a full cap, which is too much. I used a full cap for the first time and found it too heavy. The second time I used less but the hair was still heavy. The worst thing about this product is the texture it gives to your hair. After my hair comes out of the dryer, it almost feels like a sheet of fabric softener. I catch myself showering at night to wash it off before bed. Despite the cons, I will continue to use the tube I have. Why? I paid $24 for it and money doesn't grow on trees. But once the bottle is gone I probably won't buy it again.
