That does not work. on Tools & Equipment

Does not cement, so stumps break easily. The screw jack thread can be easily removed. Wouldn't expand a 2" stainless steel muffler neck as needed. Save your money.

So bad! Two broken on first use!

Harbor Freight products are way better. They broke as soon as I used them. The metal block breaks into pieces. Terrible quality!

Low quality. for motor tools

I used this product once when trying to widen an exhaust pipe but I couldn't even get started because the factory bolt was cross threaded. What a big disappointment.

Don't waste your money

This kit sucks! 2 of 3 expansion bolts snapped within the first 2 minutes after being used to expand the exhaust adapter from 2 1/4 to 2 3/8 with a regular socket and ratchet. SOMETHING ELSE!

The time and labor required to make this stretched exhaust pipe is not worth the effort.

This is not the fault of this tool, it is the poor design of the tool type. I tried this on a steel exhaust and it popped out in a hex shape and then you have to loosen it, twist it and repeat to try to round it out. I tried a stainless steel exhaust and it was a total failure as it just tore the weld.

Really don't waste your time

DO NOT waste your time buying, you won't be strong enough to extend anything beyond brass or copper. If you have a piece of pipe that needs expanding, just go to your local shop and they can do it for you and charge you next to nothing. FYI I bought this to widen the exhaust tip to match the exhaust pipe, the tip was even cut off and it still didn't widen it. complete garbage and waste of time.

Why build at all? I know You have my money and you don't have to take it.

This product is China at its worst. On first use, holding the tube in hand and using a standard length wrench, two collets broke in half. It's a useless piece of crap. The company said they would send me a new collet so I didn't send it back. They didn't ship it and now Revain AZ won't refund my money because I didn't send the item back. Warning, it's not worth the weight of the metal. About 20 cents.

Brilliant idea, NOT worth mentioning

I would like to start by saying that this product is a great idea. As you can see in the picture on the right, it's just a threaded rod with two cone-shaped "screwdrivers" that take a nut. As you rotate the rod, it pulls the actuators together and pushes out the expansion tool. The only downside I see with this design is that once the expander's "fingers" are fully expanded, they don't form a perfect circle, but an octagonal shape. You must rotate the tool during the flare process to evenly…
