Good for recreational scissors!

I like it! I saw a lot of negative reviews about this and similar products but decided to try them anyway. And they are perfect for what I wanted them for! Very pretty as a showpiece and I only use them for trimming loose threads on clothes and trimming tags on new clothes. Pretty sharp, the handle is comfortable enough for infrequent use. If you need scissors for a hobby like embroidery and are going to be using them a lot, I would recommend something smoother/easier to hold as the outer decoration makes them a bit uncomfortable.
