I bought these for my almost 3-year-old son for Christmas. He was thrilled. The battery powered screw driver works well (although the button is a little hard for him to push) and he had fun taking the toys apart and putting them back together. After a few days, he accidentally stepped on a piece and it completely broke off, meaning he can no longer put one of the toy trucks back together. I didn't think much of it since he did step on it. Since then, though, more pieces have really easily broken off. The plastic is thin and does not hold well. You can squeeze the pieces lightly and they bend easily. I'm outside of the return window but wanted to provide this review for anyone thinking of purchasing this toy. I love the idea of it, but I think the plastic needs to be more durable to hold up to the kind of use it's made for.
