Review on VViViD Smoke Adhesive Headlight Tinting by Philip Latham

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product but requires a patient installer!

I installed this film on the rear lights of my Subaru Outback station wagon and am generally happy with the product and the result. The vinyl itself is thinner than other films I've used on other car headlights, but that made it a little easier to work with. The plastic backing was a little tricky to work with and I almost ruined the piece I used by rolling it back on the adhesive side, but luckily I sprayed it with water so it just ripped. This only included the vinyl rolls so you will still need a scraper, spray bottle, microfiber towel or two, heat gun/blow dryer and a razor to trim the edges once finished. I have one major limitation. Add here: You MUST be a patient person to set this up properly. As you can see from the photos, the setup was far from perfect, but I was as patient as I could while trying. There are some creases that I hope to fix with a little time and warmth, but ultimately you can't tell the quality of the setup as I move down the road, which is all I care about.
