We recently had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in our home and needed a car transporter for it. Since we already have two large, hardwall kennels for our other dogs, adding a third kennel, albeit smaller, seemed a little intimidating. Our breeder recommended this medium sized carrier and it fits him perfectly (he weighs 19 pounds). No matter what seat you place it on, you can easily release your dog from either side or the front, making it extremely flexible. We usually take our dogs in our mid-size SUV, but this van fits perfectly in the back seat of my Camry as shown in the picture. The cushion feels comfortable and the carrier attaches quickly and securely to the car. We love this stretcher - it's perfect for our needs and our cavaliers.
