Chair just received. I paid $100 for a "sale" and it arrived quickly - NO instructions, NO illustrations - just details. It either looks like a leg or a wheel, or more like a dangling pole with a bottle cap end poked through cardboard or faux leather - whatever in the lower back, which only became apparent when I removed the plastic during unboxing. I hope this is assembled now as the parts were easy to put together - a plate with four screws and the direction "FRONT" stamped on it; the rod mentioned above, which I hope also had a cap that had to be removed because it is no longer there; and the reels stood up immediately. A cap on the stem might have been necessary because the adjustment lever rattled uselessly under the seat. I would refer to the troubleshooting instructions section, but. If you buy it extra so you never have to use a whitish chair in your office, you have this. If you're excited about a seat, maybe you should have someone look at it before you try it.
