External accessories need revision

Although this wheel has four holes, it is too wide. Tried setting it up, but didn't work. The part fits when you "ride" it, and it ruins the threads and scrapes the paint off the rim. Even harder to get off. If I had a replacement, I would check the fit. But it's used, just not very practical.
