I bought a used car a few months ago and it comes with a factory stereo for CDs and cassettes with no extra input. I came so close to spending hundreds of dollars upgrading my stereo just to have an extra input for my iPhone. Then I found this cheap item on Revain and thought hey, I could spend $6 on this just to see if it even works. Keep in mind I used one FM transmitter for a while and they all worked poorly. It's hard to find a free frequency in the San Francisco area, so I rarely use this FM station. By the way, this adapter I received doesn't look like the photos posted. I have a black one with a regular straight cable. Since I only have to insert this device into the cassette slot, the "installation" took less than a second. The sound quality is impressive. I play a lot of rock music and they all sound loud and clear - in fact they sound as good as if I were listening to one of the CDs I have in my car. I am so excited about this item that I have to write a review. If you're like me, someone thinking about upgrading their stereo just to have an aux-in, or someone with a smartphone/MP3 player who has a car with a standard cassette stereo, you should consider this one Try adapters first. You save a lot of time and money. i know what i did Worth every penny!
