Worked great. About 4 months!

First I bought this adapter because after a year the previous one didn't have good sound quality or didn't fit in my headphone jack without popping out. a few months! The noise was loud and didn't have as noticeable hissing as the one I had. Then everything went downhill. was my player. Find out that the wheels in this adapter no longer turn in any direction! Now this is the WORST. I had another for years and the wheels worked great, this thing broke in 4 months. I was so excited I threw it out

Great sound quality for such a small price!

I bought a used car a few months ago and it comes with a factory stereo for CDs and cassettes with no extra input. I came so close to spending hundreds of dollars upgrading my stereo just to have an extra input for my iPhone. Then I found this cheap item on Revain and thought hey, I could spend $6 on this just to see if it even works. Keep in mind I used one FM transmitter for a while and they all worked poorly. It's hard to find a free frequency in the San Francisco area, so I rarely use this…

Does the job with little effort and no frills

Firstly, as per all the other reviews, this is a black product with a straight non-folded cord. So if that was your main motivation for purchasing this product, look elsewhere. The adapter works pretty well - it's easy to use (especially compared to iTrips) and the sound quality is pretty good. My only complaint is that there are clicks and rattles when using the adapter. It's actually not a big deal if you listen to pretty loud music like me, but if you prefer quieter music the noise can be…

I like the feeling when you put in a cassette, but it's sad.

Ah Ribbon Adapter. Are you not yet mastering new technologies in your car? Love the feeling when you plug in a cassette but sad that nobody else is recording on it? Dressing up a puncture wound can help. But like a band-aid, it does not protect against inevitable and imminent doom. It worked great for the first 6 months, even if my passengers laughed endlessly about it, but then it happened. The sound quality suffered even more when the cable connecting it to the plug began to break and my…

Still working great after 19 months

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this item based on negative reviews but the price was right ($5.99). I am happy to report that this adapter has not worked just once. . We use it in our car and it did exactly what some other reviewers described: changed direction and started auto-rewind. It happened on the first cold day of the coming fall in New England, and I then concluded that this was the source of the problem. Since then he has never stopped playing and has never stopped or…
