I've spent days looking for options like replacing the hard drive with an SSD or even adding an mSATA SSD Late 2012 models don't benefit at all from the latter option.Price-wise, these options were about the same as 32GB RAM, but my main concern was having to detach the screen to update through other means.While the download and Download speed of applications has not changed noticeably, switching between applications, opening many applications, watching videos and surfing, working in Excel and even waking up from sleep mode have improved significantly. The memory used and the cache File size is within 32GB , while it used to be exceeded and required disk access.The next logical upgrade would be re replacing the HDD with an SSD but I think I can avoid that until I see HDD issues.
