Works great. Although the monitor is not physically connected to the case, it closes and opens very easily when set up and is stable when open. Let me remind you that there are two small "plugs" protruding from the bottom of the monitor. They sit in a groove in the case to keep it stable. First I flipped it over and it didn't stay in that position very well. Once I flipped it right side, everything was fine.
