Okay TotalMount probably didn't anticipate this build "workaround" but for me it was the only viable solution. I live in an older apartment, can't nail it to the wall and am limited by the length of the cord and the location of the outlet. The nails were huge. (I used the 3M Command Small Wire Hook for 1 pound or less. The wire hook itself is movable and easy to hang without disturbing or damaging your precious HomePod Mini. Install carefully because once the 3M hook is in place, it stays forever until removed. The drawbar is hidden. It's very secure.) Fits snugly in the cage, don't worry about it falling out, but it's easy enough to remove the mini to adjust. Excellent finish. The brand name is not embossed on the side, the color is gray or black, it is almost invisible.
